Marketing Coordinator

Help advance the organization's brand, build awareness of PacificSource and its mission, attract new customers, and increase positive perceptions of the organization in the communities we serve. Participate in the execution of advertising, public relations, social media, word of mouth, community events, and other channels to achieve marketing goals. Work independently and collaboratively to coordinate community events, including vendor and staff participation. Collaborate with others to concept, write, design, and produce promotional materials, infographics, social media content, and advertisements. This is a highly interactive, hands-on position that collaborates with staff from all PacificSource locations and subsidiaries, as well as with vendors, consultants, and other external resources. Requires self-motivation, confidence, energy, and the ability to innovate and deliver creative ideas and solutions.
1. Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute PacificSource-produced community events, optimize PacificSource's on-site presence at sponsored events, leverage PacificSource's charitable initiatives for maximum brand exposure, and identify opportunities for additional community outreach and exposure. This requires flexible scheduling to represent PacificSource at community events including evenings and weekends, with occasional overnight travel.
2. Work with other team members to maintain PacificSource social media channels including recruiting and assisting content creators, maintaining a content schedule, organizing engagement campaigns, producing rich media, and maintaining expertise on current social media channels and best practices.
3. Create selected advertisements, videos, infographics, posters, banners, and other promotional materials.
4. Create presentations, case studies, web content, collateral, and targeted marketing campaigns to support sales and brand development.
Supporting Responsibilities:
1. Work with agency vendor to coordinate placement of all PacificSource directory (i.e. yellow pages) ads.
2. Coordinate procurement and distribution of branded promotional items as needed.
3. Create and maintain selected Web content.
4. Track campaigns, prepare post-campaign performance analysis reports, and make recommendations for corrective modifications to current programs.
5. Coordinate with PacificSource Communications team on design and production of marketing collateral.
6. Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience: Minimum two years marketing experience including skills in digital design and production, event management, project management, copywriting, social media, and campaign management.
Education, Certificates, Licenses: BS or BA in marketing, advertising, journalism, business or related field required.
Knowledge: Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, principles of graphic design, still and video photography and editing techniques, social media platforms.Sound understanding of the principles of marketing and current best practices for both business to business and business to consumer marketing.

Environment: . Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment approximately 85% of the time. Work outside the office in a variety of settings supporting community outreach approximately 15% of the time, including evenings and weekends, with occasional overnight travel.
Physical Requirements: Stoop and bend. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while performing core job functions. Repetitive motions to include typing, sorting and filing. Light lifting and carrying of files and business materials, and lifting, moving, and transporting objects of up to 40 pounds while executing community events. Operate a company-owned motor vehicle. Ability to read and comprehend both written and spoken English. Communicate clearly and effectively.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
