JOB SUMMARY
Partners with the Medical Director and Administrator to facilitate successful accomplishment of financial, operational and quality goals; engagement of providers, supervisors and staff; creates and implements a vision for the clinics which includes a culture of clinical and service excellence, continuous improvement, and compassionate care. Provides oversight for the delivery of care for three or more clinics and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serves as a strategic and working partner with Director and/or Executive Director to develop and achieve plans for financial performance, clinical quality, service excellence and patient centered priorities.
Ensures alignment with service line/organization strategic, financial and operational plans, and with PeaceHealth regional initiatives. Leads and oversees implementation of the clinics initiatives congruent with annual operating plan.
Oversees financial performance for areas under span of control and is accountable to collaborate with Medical Director and/or Executive Director and lead timely adjustments to achieve financial goals.
Works with the medical directors to assist in the management of clinics and services as needed and effectively engages physician leadership in issues which affect clinic providers. A primary objective for this role is to remove obstacles and barriers in order for the medical group to reach their goals.
Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with all physicians, managers, and staff with a focus on ensuring
competency, compassion, and patient centeredness.
Reports physician practice data to employed physicians.
Supervises or delegates supervision for all assigned caregivers. Is responsible for providing them with overall direction, coordination and evaluation in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Ensures that legal and regulatory standards, as well as hospital, clinic and department policies and procedures are implemented and monitored.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
education:
Bachelor's degree in related field required or a combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
Master's Degree in health administration or related field preferred.
experience/training:
Minimum of five years of progressive responsibility in healthcare management required.
Practice management experience preferred.
Must possess understanding of the clinical and operational processes required to care for patients setting.
license/certification:
RN credential preferred.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team building and business management.
Knowledge of and experience with continuous improvement techniques and methodologies.
Demonstrated competence in financial and business planning, analysis and management.
Understanding of strategic planning processes and methodologies.
Strong problem solving, decision making, team building, process improvement, leadership and time management skills required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of computers including MS Office applications.
Strong financial management skills including analytical skill and familiarity with benchmarking financial and operational performance.
Demonstrated competence in developing business plans for new services and capital equipment.

Serves as Administrator on Call as needed.
An understanding or experience with Rural Health regulations preferred.
PHOR: Oregon Cardiology-SHMC and Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic
This position will be the operations manager for Oregon Cardiology reporting to the Executive Director.
Practice management experience required.
