Job
Summary: Emergency Tech works under the direction of the ED Nurse Manager and the supervision of Nursing Administration to perform tasks as requested by the nurse or physician. Performs the clerical and secretarial duties inherent in the operation of the Emergency Department.
Education/Licensing: Current EMT-1 certification or higher required. Current BLS. Current ACLS.
Qualifications: Proficient IV Skills required. Ward secretary training and/or experience with hospital background preferred. Familiar with medical terminology and spelling. Able to deal with the public courteously and effectively. Able to work in a distracting environment, adapting to frequent interruptions while maintaining efficiently, a calm demeanor and a pleasant approach.Emergency Services
