Summary:
Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems.
Essential functions and
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicle Work well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractors Provide direction and on the job training to commercial install apprentice/helpers Installation of ductwork in a neat & professional manner Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized Attend continued professional HVAC training scheduled by management Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times #comfortflow2 Required
Qualifications:
Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance Must live in the State of Oregon within 50 miles of Eugene/Springfield Desire to advance in career through on-going training Ability to work well independently or as a team Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work out of town when necessary Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures Pride in workmanship Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen Must be able to work off ladders & lifts Education and
Experience:
Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent 5
years previous HVAC experience in commercial application Degree or certificate from a certified HVAC technical/trade school or apprenticeship program is preferred Ability to read blue prints Basic written and verbal English language communication skills Success factors/job competencies:
Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately Effectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractors Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations Regular use of personal protective equipment Come to work ready to work with the proper tools and attire Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes Physical demands and work environment:
