Responsibilities:
- Dining Services Assistants perform all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in kitchens.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients in a senior living setting - Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions provided by healthcare professionals - Ensure food is prepared and presented in a safe and appetizing manner - Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment - Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked - Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations - Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices - Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately - Strong time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule - Excellent communication skills to interact with residents/patients and healthcare professionals - Ability to work well in a team environment - Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital, assisted living facility, or nursing home setting - Culinary training or certification is a plus Note:
