Summary:
Under the supervision of the physician and department management team, participates in or assists with all routine and therapeutic angiographic or catheterization procedures and other invasive procedures as required.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating all aspects of patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including patient assessment, monitoring, sedation analgesia, technological interventions and patient education.
Utilizes cognitive and clinical skills in performing the principle activities of one or more of the following roles:
monitor nurse, scrub nurse or circulating nurse.
Call as required.
Qualifications:
Current state of Oregon RN license.
Advanced Life Support Certification/BLS upon hire required.
Minimum of two years recent experience in ICU, CCU or a related critical care specialty area.
Previous cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
Must have the ability to function efficiently and responsibly in a team-oriented atmosphere with multiple work demands.
Must be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations that may arise during high-risk procedures.
Hourly Base Rate:
$42.
